The project begins!!

This is where it all begins!  I scored a trailer locally on trade.  This already kept money in my pocket for the project and also got rid of an item I wouldn’t have much use for. The trailer I was able to get cane in at 6’ x 10’ in size. This was a home built trailer that used to haul a couple of  Harley motorcycles around.  With knowing that much information, I knew it was built to hold weight and would be a perfect fit for my needs.

Once getting the trailer home I spent a little time here and there on getting down to the frame (the worst part of the build so far).  I had a set goal in mind on when I wanted this process done. Having a few months to get done with the strip down and painting, I was really in no rush. The main goal, get it stripped, sanded and painted before our last camping trip of 2019 (in our pop up) and get it then moved into the garage. The goal was met and that is where the project begins to take off.

Here are some pictures of the trailer as I got it, started the cutting and grinding, and all the way to the frame with paint.
